ABOUT
Mr. Rials is a native of Monroe, Louisiana, in Ouachita Parish. He graduated from Neville High School, where he was named Scholastic Athlete of the Year. Mr. Rials attended The University of Louisiana at Monroe (then Northeast Louisiana University). In 2001, he graduated from ULM with honors, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management.
Mr. Rials graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2004, obtaining a degree of Juris Doctor and a degree of Bachelor of Civil Law. He graduated in the top 20% of his law school class, and was admitted to the Wex Malone Inns of Courts for his top performance in the LSU Law Trial Advocacy Program. While in law school, Mr. Rials clerked for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and several of the largest law firms in the State of Louisiana.
Mr. Rials was admitted to practice law in all State Courts of Louisiana in November of 2004, and he was admitted to practice in the Federal Western District of Louisiana in May of 2005. He began his career working with an insurance defense firm, was of counsel for a transactional firm, and he eventually became a partner in a small firm in his hometown of Monroe, Louisiana.
In July of 2016, after more than 12 years of practicing law and with the blessing of numerous peers and family, Mr. Rials launched his own practice. He is also a licensed title agent and works with several title agencies as an outside closer.
Mr. Rials is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and he is rated AV Preeminent through Martindale Hubbell. He is the former Chairman of Families Helping Families of Northeast Louisiana, an active member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church, and a coach for several youth teams. He frequently advises the board of the Northeast Louisiana Homebuilders Association, and presents continuing education topics for its members.
He is married to the former Elizabeth Jaubert, and they have two children, Madeline and Jackson. In his (limited) spare time, Mr. Rials is an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoys continuing to be involved in various land development projects.
